MAME 0.249 ROMs sooner (arcade + mess)

Well, I checked out Step Champ in the most recent MAME and find out that the game still lacks sound. So the question is are they gonna add sound to the game in the next MAME?

We have spectrum_cass\goldpck100.zip, but not...

Those two missing roms were already in Mame 0.248.

The overlapping names between the old v2 and the new v1 had confused things for me. They are from 0.236 if anyone else has lost them.

Don't copy an update pack on top of a complete romset to update it because that will overwrite files.

Best is to use a rom manager and have a full backup before rebuilding to a new set.
