I'm trying to rebuild my mame roms/sets collection, according to clrmamepro, I'm missing about 40mb of various files, I was going to pick off the missing files from the downloads section, but I'm not seeing all of them, for example "2spicy" and "bbh" I know those are CHD based games, but the corresponding .zip files don't seem to be anywhere within the downloads section. Am I overlooking a folder? Thanks for any help. |
Those two are only CHDs; there isn't a romset named 2spicy or bbh because they use bios roms (lindbios/iteagle) to run.
If you make a fixdat it's easier to see which ones of your missing are roms.

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to get it down to saying only 4MB missing. I've attached the exported list of what it says I'm missing. |
Just post a fixdat; that missing.txt is almost useless. It looks like you're missing over 200 CHDs and a couple romsets. |

I updated a few more files from the downloads section. clrmamepro now says I'm only missing 1 ROM. Missing ·Sets 159/40988 ·ROMs 1/305854 ·CHDs -/1051 ·Samples -/18705 ·Bytes 128/258gb However, it lists nothing in the box when only roms are checked, and when I check my roms/sets it does nothing when attempting to export a fixdat file. |
I just wanted to update on this- I updated clrmame pro to the latest nightly "cmpro20191006" and picked off any missing sets from the big downloads set. I'm all caught up with 0 roms missing from the 0.216 set. Thanks. |
