RAINE v0.91.4

Seems that RAINE has been updated. For those that remember back in the Romshepherd days on what I used to post, it's more of the same as usual, however I haven't bothered updating the screenshot dats with this newer build as most are still the same from back in 2018 (builds v0.64.5 - v0.64.16)

For those that don't remember or are seeing this for the first time, it's really nothing of high interest, just that I used to post datfiles for RAINE that I pulled directly from the exe and then a completed directory dat as well after I built the set for those that didn't/couldn't.

Version 0.96.9 has problems.

Updated from 0.98.6 thee only change the renaming of 1 file and then the rom image opwolfe it has problems.

Went with 0.96.8 there is no changes in the rom imagers from 1.96.6 to 1.96.8

I don't see the dat-files there.

0.96.9? 0.98.6? 1.96.8? The latest version is 0.91.9

The roms are available in the BDA, no need to attach an nzb file.

The isn't just the roms.

It contains iso images that are bin cue cd images.

All the artwork too.

It's complete and ready to run.

Just setup the paths and go.

The file opwolf clrmamepro will rename a couple of rom images and delete a file then report then report that the files that it renamed is wrongly named and the unneeded file it deleted is missing. It's not a matter that opwolf can't be found, that this release has a problem and clrmamepro will never be able to file as wrong.

If it's a complete set then why don't you upload it to a place where everyone can download it without having to pay for a usenet account?

If Clrmamepro deletes files then it's not a problem with Raine but with Clrmamepro. Have you tried another rommanager?

There was no major changes between 0.91.8 to 0.91.9 fixes to neo cd and a sound fix for opwolf

opwolf wont work in 0.91.9 even if wasn't changed with a rom manager. so I'm content to wait for the next update.

My son who is a cloud architect has gotten me into the habbit putting data in at least 3 different locations ideally in different fema zones.

For me it's a nas he built which is on my desk the second location is another nas by him in a different state and the third is a cloud space he setup.

These are synced i update my stuff, it automatically updates the other two locations.

With the newsgroups, I've been addicted to them for over 30 years. Newshosting has a 3 year retention and it has a really gooD VPN.

It's one indulgence I'm willing to spend on a fixed income.

Since my son has me on the Google One family plan, I now have 100Gb of storage on my drive account.

I'm currently uploading Raine 0.91.8 complete the roms, neo cd's and other extras. the Size will be 11Gb.

The difference between this and whats on the newsgroups is that what's in the newsgrous is 0.91.6 and has additional neo roms in folders Cps1, Cps2 and NeoGeo making that to 45Gb. The only reason those folders where there when I updated Raine then, mentioned them. The program is not equipped for them but kept them if they would be needed in later releases.

When it's finished uploading, I'll post a link to the files.
