Silly Trick for Give us a break / TenUp

After messing with the floppy image load, make a SAVE STATE by pressing Shift+F7. Next time you load the game, press F7 to load the state... 

MAME will warn you of no save state support for said games, don't worry it works !
This saves a lot of messing with the floppy image loading

DS made a good point on the RR Discord, that SAVE STATES cannot be trusted 100% version to version of MAME as sometime the methods change and the existing data don't work anymore.

If this happens

Delete the SAVESTATE files for the games from the STA folder
Rinse and repeat :)
