CHD folder

Hello,

I have a basic subscription but the MAME/CHD folder only show chds up to the letter G, nothing after that, is this normal?

Im updating this folder, all other chds are available in https://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs_temp/

Keep in mind that files in the temp folder are rebuilded to the CHD folder when I have time .....

Tnx for getting back to me, I couldn't find these in both folders so I thought something was wrong.

I have an intermediate membership (just paid for) and when I try and download any of the Mame CHD's I just get a wall of text instead of a download? Using Edge & IE on Windows 10

in each CHD folder are several files (Example https://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs/2spicy/):

- https://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs/2spicy/dvp-0027a.md5 > it contains the checksum of each file, use a program to test if all files are correctly downloaded (for example with https://multipar.eu) . If 1 of the files are corrupt download it again.

- https://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs/2spicy/dvp-0027a.part01.rar -> 1 ore more RAR-Parts -> you need all of them. Unpack this with WinRAR (use the first part 01) -> this rar file contains the .chd file -> only the extracted file is needed for MAME

- https://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs/2spicy/dvp-0027a.txt -> the txt file is generated during the rar process, it only contains information about the chd. You can check it first before downloading all parts and see afterwards that it was the wrong chd.

 I'm aware of what each file is for, I've been collecting ROMs for about 15 years. The problem is that when I choose to download a .rar I end up with a wall of text rather than prompting for me to download a file. Please see the attached screenshot - that's what happens when I try and download https://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/CHDs/2spicy/dvp-0027a.part01.rar 

 I'd like a refund please...

hmm then use "save as" (its more a browser error than retroroms fault)

You can also use jdownloader or other downloadmanager for downloading a folder -> please set it to 1 file at the time

What browser should i be using for this? Save as just results in downloading a small text file named after the rar filename. Not usable even if renamed to .rar

Edge is a little difficult to handle, it will save it as txt or html file .... hmmmmm. Use Firefox, Chrome or Opera instead. .... or a download manager ;-)

Hmmm... working with Firefox, thanks for your help. Required Browsers should be detailed on the site though..

You are the only person to report this problem. I guess most people dont use non industry standard browsers :)

If you have problems with edge, can I suggest contacting microsoft for support with their product.

Did you use Temp File Cleaner by any chance? Because it looks like you have a corrupted counters2.dat in your Windows 10 profile.
Can you still download files from other sites using Edge?
