I have been fortunate enough to have this and eXoDos.
Can anyone answer, has Total DOS been cleaned from virus and which is more popular, easy to use.... This or eXoDos?
Which has more...

Here are my fixdats for the daily after downloading 22s torrent and hunting in internet (if anyone is kind to help it is really appreciated).
Thanks
I have the full set of TDC 22 collection. When I try your fixes, I found that I only had a few of them. Then I notice that the version of your fixes is 22+, I believe this contains all the files added to the DAT since version 22 was released.
Have attached the fixes I found, the DAT file I used which was found in the 'tools.rar' file which was download from the torrent.

If you grab the torrent from rutracker, there is an RV compatible DAT file inside the Tools folder, which is based on the release date. The one i use is called "TDC_daily_paths" with a datestamp of "Monday, August 12, 2024@00:00".
Use that if you want it to "go green" and not the daily available.

I had no issues repacking Total DOS (using Kaspersky), and if you run stuff inside a virtual machine, you should be safe either way.
"Easy to use" is surely eXoDOS since it comes with a frontend, TDC has a load more of those long forgotten titles though, so you pick.

I just need few titles from TDC 22 and not the whole +600GB database. is there any way i could download some specific titles of it without downloading the whole db ?
If you know how to unpack .zst files, http://www.games.stargrave.org/TDC/ is your friend.

have you got TDC 21 TORRENT FILE ?
It was removed from rutracker when #22 came out, and i did not save a copy. So, most likely, that is gone forever. Just grab #22 - posted an alternative link above that still works and has decent speed.

http://www.games.stargrave.org/TDC/ is still alive so you can hand pick anything missing from there. Do you need the datfile of the 22 release? Let me know, cos i have it - somewhere! hehe.

The dat you want to use with Romvault is in the Tools/TDC_DAT_release_22_RV folder. That is the dat which matches the torrent.
Unless you want to use DOSvault, there is no alternative. And really, you do not want to use that. If you do, good luck, you are gonna need it!

I put my fixdat for (a lot of) files for "tdc_daily_paths". Thank you if you point me where to find them.
https://workupload.com/file/H4ZHFXLUDPdIf you grab Yori's two UnRenamed PC Compatibles sets from archive (GeneXo posted them), you can knock about 2500 off your miss count. Not a lot but better than nothing.
The archive names are "UnRenamed Files - PC Compatibles" and "UnRenamed Files - PC Compatibles II". "UnRenamed Files II [PC COMPATIBLES]" are all flux copies, and i didn't get a match on any of those from your fixdat.
Cannot find anything else matching, which means you can safely ignore the TGOD (The Good Old Days) set.
See you in the Touhou thread at next update :)
