MAME SL PSX CHDs - Point me in the right direction

Replies (10)
    • Finally made the decision to get serious about MAME software lists and have made good progress (thanks largely to Mucci's sooner posts!), but seem to be hitting a wall where PSX CHDs are concerned.  There are a multitude of collections in various formats on Internet Archive and elsewhere  (bin/cue, CHD, etc) which seem to contain what I am looking for, but after trying dozens of them in some cases and not getting a single CHD that passes muster with ROMVault I am reaching out to the collective for advice.
Can anyone point me to a collection which has a higher hit-to-miss ratio for MAME-friendly PSX files?  I am not afraid to put in the effort or build CHDs from bin/cue files, but am growing weary of downloading TBs of data with nothing to show for it.
Thanks for any and all advice you may have!

            • Thanks for the info - may just be my torrent-unfriendly ISP, but for some reason the magnet links from GitHub do not seem to lead anywhere...

              • Not trying to be "that guy" but going to beat this dead horse one more round...

First a big thanks to everyone who has responded and reached out with links and suggestion - much appreciated!

I am able to successfully get the links for everything that is not software list related (MAME, MAME CHDs, Extras, etc) but keep getting timed out on either of the software list related ones (MAME SL and MAME SL CHDs).  I am at a point where I only need a very limited subset of the SL CHDs (specifically ~1400 PSX files the the Saturn Rayman prototype), so sadly what I am looking for is specifically what the PD links do not want to let me see.
Are there not enough seeders, or specific times that I should be looking to try for?  Any thoughts you can pass along are great, and I PROMISE not to ask about this again!

                  • What torrent program are you using?

Attached are both SL torrent files created from the PD Magnet links, maybe your program just has problems with large magnet links.

There are always plenty of seeders on PD torrents, certainly right after a new Mame release.

                    • I typically use Frostwire, but may give some others a try - thanks for the links and the tip!

UPDATE: That was the ticket - switching to another torrent client did that trick and I am off to the races - thanks again!
