Where should I put CHD and SL files?

I downloaded CHD and SL files from this link.

https://mega.nz/folder/3RlDVIaT#i9c2YR5wpR6l7413JoskzA

1- Where should I put those files in my MAME directory in my pc?

2- If I do not use Mame UI, can I use this files in MAME Emulator?

3- If I want to use Mame UI, should I put Mame UI folder in my main Mame Emulator directory?

for the chd it s easy

in you folder roms you put a folder game and file

for exemple

roms

-->2spicy

---->dvp-0027a.chd

for the sl i dont know

Copy the folders inside chd folder to the roms folder i mame.

Copy the folders iside sl fplder to the software folder i mame, don't overwrite fileso

Use clrmamepo

mame updating.docx7.2M4 downloads

 Thank you, but I do not use Mame UI, so there is no software folder in normal MAME folder.

What should I do?

Should I download Mame UI?

And if I download it, should I put Mame UI in the same folder with main MAME folder?

Be jt mame, mess,arcade mameui or otheror other front-ends.

THE FILE STRUCTRE SAME

Be the platform Windows, MAC, Lunix, Android, Raspberry Pi

Still the same

Split, non-merged or merged sets.

Sane.

Clrmamepro is a rom manager and has nothing do with the front-ends.

It appears you desire to have a specialize rom with separate bios, chd, devices and roms folders. with mame as the only front-end.

First edit mame.ini <I use notepad++>

Edit the rompath to read.

Since these folders are in your root mame directory. No need  for full paths.

You  will have a nonstandard split rom set.
