This most recent MAME update resulted in many games no longer working. Upon further investigation I realized the BIOS files for these games(which ran on the same system) needed updating. I updated them(Neo Geo, Sega Titan, and Atari) and problem solved. In the process of doing this I noticed the original Virtua Fighter was missing. It now no longer appears on the list of supported games for MAME when it has been for years. Anyone know what happened or am I just losing my mind?

It works fine in Mame 0.223. I am not seeing it in my list of supported games for 0.223. It shows up on MAMEUI and MAME Plus XT. Maybe something is up with my frontend? I am using Emu Loader v8.8.2 Don't hate, emulate! |
The latest version of Emu Loader is 0.8.8.4 but idk if it fixes that. |
