MAME new Versions windows 10 question

I am Having problems with new versions of MAME on my windows 10 laptop. I have enclosed a picture which explains what im trying to do !

1. Under "Options" then "Interface Options" on the bottom left, set "Show History on Tab" to "All"

2. Under "View" then "Show Picture" make sure the "History" option has NO check by it.

View, check Screenshots tabb, and in show pictures, check the tabs you want to enable.

For hidding the software area, View, unchek Software area

For displaying mameinfo.dat and history,dat, put those files in the dat or history folder.

Have tried to delete the mamui.ini with no joy ! 

Got the Software window sorted but the tabs in the screenshot window are enabled they are just hidden behind the window as you can see in the enclosed picture

Ok, I gave this a shot. I take it you're playing this on a 4K display? If I use your ini MAMEUI pretty much just resets everything back to a fresh 1st time run.(See screenshot_2)

If I re-adjust to my native 1920x1080 this screenshot is what I get...I can over adjust I make the columns overlap & cover nearly every thing up except for the problem

that you're having.(See screenshot_1)

My suggestion is to completely delete MAMEUI.ini and start fresh. Without an ini in there it should reset everything as in this 2nd screenshot...

Here's how mine is set up (Screenshot_3) & my ini if you want to try it & see what it does...(make sure to rename yours 1st then rename mine)

If that still doesn't fix it then you must have another MAMEUI.ini hiding around there somewhere that is conflicting with that one, but really the one in

your main MAMEUI64.exe directory should over-ride any others... (It is in that directory right?)

If not, erase all your hard drives, donate that computer to charity, build a new system & start anew. THAT should take care of it!!! LOL
