I remember that it was not released on the Neht team's website but

is was shared unexpectedly, for this reason many have up to v0.154-r5183

Unfortunately, that's true. The last build is, as you said MAME Neht v0.154.

Mame Neht v0.154 Changelog:

Sync with r5183 source
Fixed some neogeo hack sets with latest source
Fixed ports input cps3 driver, add 6 buttons to all new bootlegs (missing forward kick and roundhouse kick)
Removed fruits and pinball sets

Many people know that the latest version of MAME NEHT is v0.153-r5183

but someone made a request roms through fix dat referring to 2015 to the 0.160 version.

Likely the v0.160 was passed elsewhere and in a stupid way as if it were less important (not in the emulator's official blog)

It is likely that v0.160 had many errors, which is why it is made important, perhaps someone still keeps it...
