MAME 0.220 ROMs sooner (arcade + mess)

I will update the following folder for the updates  (from official 0.219 to the next official release 0.220):

Note: Remember that this update folder does not contain complete sets! "Full MAME 0.219" + "update" -> rebuild -> "Full MAME 0.219rXXX"

I found a rare Wii Virtual Console Version of Emeraldia which needs to be emulated on MAME.

Oh, If you want to emulate non eShop games well I found them as well in Internet Archive.

Although I don't know how to dump the files from the .wad file

After some research I finally extracted the .wad file and most of .app files  of the 2009 Wii VIrtual Console version of Emeraldia (emeraldvc).

I extracted most of the data in 1 folder and all files in the folder called "Leftover Data" (I literally made it up) are all non .app files from the .wad file and both non-extracted .app files because I can't extract them due to a runtime error.

I have no idea how the extract Emeraldia itself from the Virtual Console but you may can figure it out yourself.

This doesn't have anything to do with Mame 0.220.

Why don't you start your own thread?

I only did it to help people extract the rom from the virtual console itself

Hi, thanks for upload updates for mame 220. I noticed only a missing set of SCI roms:

sci         : c09-17.24 (1024 bytes) - NOT FOUND

sci         : c09-18.25 (1024 bytes) - NOT FOUND

Rescan your set when rebuilding it; those 2 roms are in bshark, dblaxle and racingb.

Tried updated all with last chdman withou any luck.

Any suggestions how a can accomplish this?

I thought I would complete each previous version to the next version, or is there a faster alternative?

Download all the updates and then rebuild to the 0.227 set using those updates and your 0.217 set.
No need to update to each next version.
