I need help getting Killer Instinct working on FBA

I'm using fba 64 bit version 02.97.43

Here the ERROR Im getting

I got the rom from this site I made a roms and chd in the rom folder, like this

can anyone help get the right roms or chd or help get this to run please

You posted this in the completely wrong forum; this is for dats and tools.

FBA doesn't work with chd, you need kinst.img.

omg so sorry about that Im new to this forum you see, I dont know how to navigate my way to your forum

so don't need a CHD ? like the mame ?

does this forum have the kinst.img ? where can I obtain one ?

You can extract the img from the chd using chdman and this command:

chdman extracthd -i kinst.chd -o kinst.img

Place the entire hdd folder with its subfolders and img files in your FBA folder.

It's FBN now, not FBA.

Unless you are using the old version.

He says he's using FBA 02.97.43, so not FBN.

Also, FBA still exists, FBN is a different project.

noone do I put in the roms folder ? Im so sorry for asking these silly question can you show me picture or something how its work ?

 Place that hdd folder in the fba folder, not in the roms folder.

Im still getting the same error here a real time video to show you what is happening noone 

This isn't a rom problem, it's a problem with FBA 0.2.97.43, I get the same error.

Try a newer FBA Nightly build or use FBNeo, I see that you already have it in your download folder.

@noone I try using the FBA neo but now there another big issue. read the Romset fine but its not showing up on the lad game list.... all this trouble to get this game to work :(
