Hi DownThemAll will not work anymore with Firefox 57 so I want to know if there is another solution compatible with Ubuntu. Also I was not able to find any compatibility info for the Mega extension, actually it isn't compatible with Firefox 57. This would be a great problem. |
Firefox 57 is still in Beta, why don't you just use Firefox 56 next to it? |

It's still 6 weeks until FF 57 gets released; you don't have to upgrade FF if losing DTA and Mega extension will be 'a great problem'. |
The developer of DownThemAll had cleary stated that he cannot update the add on to the new web extension. |
I clearly stated to either not upgrade FF or to run 2 versions alongside each other. Or you can use FF ESR if you need security updates but don't want the web extensions. |
I ditched Firefox in favor of Pale Moon, xul/xpcom extensions continue to work here.
DownThemAll 2.0.18 should work according to this: https://addons.palemoon.org/incompatible/
