Anyone have a more current DAT file of the MESS Software List and/or any SL DATS that cover the entire library of games? Just to clarify. A DAT to seperate all the games to its specific folder(ex: gamecom/game or cdi/chd folders and cdi/game). If not, it's cool. Much help would be highly appreciated. |
Mame comes with XMLs in the Hash folder; those are the SL DAT files. |
Where would I find them?
Sorry if this sounds like a n00b question to ask. But I haven't been dealing with MAME last since 2004. So this is all new to me. Preferably the software list.
I need this for RomVault, Clrmamepro, or whichever rom sorting programs to seperate the designated games in their respectful folders rather than them be all together and screwy. |
Nevermind. I finally got it. Had to search it through after reading your reply. Didn't know RomVault read XML files as DATs. Very genius way of separating them.
