MAME 0.188 ROMs sooner (arcade + mess)

I will update the following folder for the updates:
http://bda.retroroms.net/downloads/mame/update/

https://mega.nz/#F!ndUGnSTY!k9LIj5KtTQ7DcS4ils7Clg

Use his thread for added roms (from 0.187 official build to the next official release 0.188)

Don't search/post here for stuff that is already added to 0.187 official build or earlier!

Dunno if you can help, but bublboblp.zip is missing the bublboblp.pal16l8.ic19 rom. I've done a bit of sleuthing and I think it might be in a new Tokio bootleg (which also evades me). Please assist!

Have you clicked on the big DOWNLOADS link on top of this page?

Because bublboblp.zip in the BDA isn't missing that rom.

Aw, cheers. Found it. Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob to this site, so I'm a little in the dark to where this and that goes, and so on. Again, my thanks.laughing

All the Game & Watch games are missing the BIOS rom required to load and run each game. Only the SVG files are stored here so the games won't work. Please take a look.

Cheers,

RC

Two comments above yours I explained where you can find the full romsets...

can someone help me i need this file to be able to run ki2 on mame 0.188 and 0.189 pls help

the file is this one ki2_l14p.u98

Maybe try the Mega-link in the first post of this thread?

Based on 0.189!

http://bda.retroroms.info/downloads/mame/mame-0189-full/kinst2.zip

 maybe next time with more information ;-)

@All: you can use the XML-Output for getting the needed information, download it from MAMEdev site or create it yourself:

"mame64.exe -listxml >mame-0189.xml"

search for the file you are missing (list example is cutted down):

<machine name="kinst2" sourcefile="kinst.cpp">
        <description>Killer Instinct 2</description>
        <year>1995</year>
        <manufacturer>Rare</manufacturer>
        <rom name="ki2_l14p.u98" size="524288" crc="d80c937a" sha1="85a009638f2eada4c63240fc30a9e7be59afab7f" region="user1" offset="0"/>
        <rom name="ki2_l1.u10" size="524288" crc="fdf6ed51" sha1="acfc9460cd5df01403b7f00b2f68c2a8734ad6d3" region="dcs" offset="0"/>

Under machine name you can see the filename or you can see the name of the parent and/or other useful information ;-)

@Mucci, the rom he requested is in the Mega link in the first post of this thread.

I think 1 post members are too lazy to look.

@all: Keep in mind that roms in the bda/update and on the MEGA link are not complete roms, they maybe need some "rebuilding" first ;-)

..yep indeed Perkele it contains the missing rom in the MEGA link :-)
